So, if we do move forward now or eventually, hopefully you can reboot your attitude (ie. get off your high horse) and realize that I'm not trying to convince you to do what I'm doing or it's the best thing ever, I'm trying to convince you (and any readers) that there are benefits that you don't seem to want to acknowledge because they are not a good fit for YOU.

Credit score, can they afford rent, can I collect if they do not pay, do they have a positive attitude, are they likely to follow the rules, will they fit with existing tenants, will they be happy as my tenants.

By disrespecting your reasonable request as property owner and ethical business operator, the signal to him, which must be communicated through your associates, is that you are too busy to consider his "shirt form" attitude. 

I know you are not alone in your attitude or thoughts to such matters, and that is exactly why we have laws, to ensure that landlords follow the norm of accepted behavior.

You have considerable investments in them, you have people paying you fairly large amounts of money, yet you want as little to do with the property itself, and as little contact with your customers as possible.I can think of no other business where businessmen/women have such a cavalier attitude to their own business!
