HUD give a maximum number of voucher slots and funds to the housing Authority and once that is filled the only options is to wait to see if vouchers are taken away from tenants violating policy or to wait the following fiscal year.

Of course it turns out they replaced the faucet (a white faucet on a stainless steel sink) and because they didn't put it together right, they wanted me to pay the cost to hire a plumber to fix it for them, claiming there was a leak before...I get most renters are generally low income, unintelligent people compared to us "rich landlords" but my GOD, I'm wondering if renting to people this dumb is not a huge liability.

One of our tenants is moving to another of our houses so the wife just bought a new stainless steel range, one of our other tenants cooks in grease 24x7, she got $100 range from Goodwill.
