Tempe has Arizona State University and has been building like crazy the last 5-7 years.

The price per SF can be manipulated a lot for small mixed used building like this. 

And unless the topic came up in regard to monthly income that they needed to qualify for the home; there’s a good chance you are being manipulated.

I always install a 1/2" wide foam weather stripping around the perimeter of the area I will be self leveling to allow room for the self leveler to expand with temp changes and not crack.

Face it, you're down the wrong trail and have been voted off the island.EVERYTHING in mortgage lending has to be honest, without manipulation and disclosed to every party.

Granted, we haven't gone through a down cycle since they started this, but I expect that if there is another downturn these houses may have a small advantage in a crowded market.I've been inside some of these units and besides the green features, they are very comfortable - lots of insulation means the temp doesn't swing up and down.
