Once you type the '@' symbol and the first few letters of their name you should be able to click on the name of whomever you want to mention in the box that pops up below.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do have a suggestion.Maybe try tagging some BP members from your local market with the @ symbol just to get some attention to your post.Best of luck friend!

It is a great read (plus free).Don't forget to make keywords up so you know when someone is talking about your area.When you want to tag someone in a post use the @ symbol and start to write their name.

It was seen by some as a symbol of the pending transformation of the neighborhood... and they were right, it's now the most fashionable part of town.

Those rent prices for me symbolize a lower demographic and therefore a higher expenses for turn over and management need. 

Apparently just using the @ symbol doesn't do it.

I merely add the ampersand "@" symbol so that some other poster doesn't tell me about the function.So, @Ibrahim, it's me not you.

@Forrest B.you can "call out" someone on Bigger Pockets by using the @ symbol followed by their name.
