I never really understood the discrepancy in the sub markets except maybe people can wrap their heads around renting out 1 unit versus maybe they are scared of having more then one tenant?

I think paying off your primary makes sense if you are close to retirement, but not if you’re young, and not if you have a sub 6% interest-rate.
