As far as benefit to the seller goes, @Matthew Paul I think you are probably right on the money and regardless of whether they would have preferred to stay in this house rather than move, it is likely providing them some excellent cash flow; and I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a deal that serves both parties better than the current situation. 

I would try to get something signed if you get a hotel and offer free rent.

If you can stay closer to your current location, that is probably best because you know it.

How do you buy anything or stay somewhere?

In the same token I go on the low end for rents to stay conservative.

My main concern is maintaining a good relationship with the relocation company for potential future stays, as they were very understanding and realized it was due to asthma issues (I have not worked with the company before).I would appreciate any thoughts on how you would proceed in this situation.
