I had fancy UC Berkeley online library access, so I did what anyone in that position would do and read all the peer reviewed academic literature on bed bugs written by people with Ph.D after their name (including pre-modern remedies that worked & still work), and over the course of a few months eliminated the infestation myself - chemical free.

If it is lead paint on the inside the remediation could be huge.In some cases if density levels have increased for zoning the answer might be to tear it down and build new.

Any recommendations I make are based on experience, and not the advise of a professional in fire damage remediation, I am not a lawyer, and any advice I provide you may take with a grain of salt.In regards to the tenant, atleast in NYS, it is their responsibility to have renters insurance to cover their belongings, you are not required to compensate them for any losses.

If the sanitary conditions in your unit are such that it attracts pests of any kind, and it becomes necessary for us to undergo remediation in the building, you will be held financially responsible for reasonable costs thereof, paid as additional rent.This is what I use.
