I would be able to manage the finances, marketing and showings even while working but maybe not attend to the small stuff such as getting a random call to fix something stupid at 3pm when I'm 6 hours out of town or on my 30th day of night shift 12s.

I also look at it from the perspective of I now have extra cashflow to remove dangerous trees or do preventative maintenance to systems that have higher likely hood of causing damage.For the management I self manage for now so that fee just goes to me.

But if the lease terms are murky, if renewal conditions aren’t guarenteed, or if the airport authority could dramatically shift the deal down the line, then you should be asking for a discount..or at least some protective clauses in the contract.I’m curious... if you were to step into this kind of leasehold now, how do you think you’d explain the upside to your future buyers or partners when you eventually decide to exit?
