Congrats on the "good" type of problem of which job offer to take...An angle you might try is to take the best job, on its own merits (pay, advancement opportunities, benefits, etc), then leverage a solid W2 and good credit into a 2-4 unit property (owner occupied) to blend a full time job with part time real estate investing....Best of luck!

I know one community in Indiana that got so upset at a dealer who was targeting their community, well in short they tied that guy up with legal cases, most probably having no merit, he went broke trying to defend himself and lost everything.

However it has merit, shop around for a contractor.Great comments above, especially Aaron's and Randy's as they are pointing out considerations investors must address.Saying making some repairs to fix and flip is vague and IMO, the contractor wanting $500 to go look is really saying he's not interested.It all depends on the scope of work.
