All that said,  SP also has a great, active, engaged community,  several festivals over the course of the year  (its the only neighborhood I've seen people in full tradiitional dress riding horses down side streets for fiestas patrias for example) and neighbors put on an all-out august night out against crime every year.   

I figure you could charge an arm and a leg during bigger music festivals but I can't verify that, and I also don't know what it's like year-round over there.

We have a Coachella and stage coach music festival next month and fear the same fate.

So it is out of consideration for an already overburdened system, and to not make things worse, we quarantine for a while and NOT go to sporting events, music festivals, restaurants etc. because it is the country's obligation to treat those who are critically ill whether you like it or not.

I attend several dance festivals internationally every year :) Would love to mind meld on this off line.

Beaches, international airports, plenty of festivals, nightlife, and culture are at your fingertips. 2) schools are fantastic for the most part.

I agree it's a fantastic opportunity in Edinburgh, especially with the festival in august!

There may be a parking structure a few blocks away which will help events in 3 areas; The Parkway, An open air plaza and the riverfront where live events and festivals happen. 

Great music and restaurants and always a festival or 2 going on.
