my RE income from my rentals is semi-passive of course... so less active than W2 but more active than dividends or social security.I just dont really see owning rentals as passive to me its active if your going to stay right on top of them and have them perform like you want them to ( this is specfic to owning C class low B class sFRs  Not those who might own 100 unit apartments with professional management those are passive as long as they are working good. . 

C class areas/properties to A class areas/properties.

I set clear rules: no cooking, but guests could use a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.

Of course, this varies among different classes of properties.

the other 2 or MF.. but A class stabilized so I think they should just trundle along OK.

totally disagree this is important for those who actually are in construction or rehab houses to understand the labor force and not discriminate against a certain class because of who they are or where they are from.. 

The tenants in the 3 bedroom rental aren't in a protected class but I do not want to get in any kind of legal bind. 

lol ...that's middle class house.but yea nothing make sense if we see current valuation using past mirror, but if we're alien came from future then we may say "oh this makes sense".The point is these are nothing of homes selling for 500k, most do not even have a garage.
