How would you guys compare Columbus to somewhere like Memphis that has similar price points?

Even comparing Provo to NC in terms of flight duration and cost even though both have direct flights would be a huge factor for me.

Owning the multifamily has it's challenges as everyone knows when you compare NNN to multifamily.

I agree with @Michael Baum, are they true comparables? 

The logic doesn’t hold up...Let’s compare this with another investor who took a different approach.Seven years ago, Investor X purchased a duplex in a stronger market for $300,000.

If you have high W2 income, the amount your STR makes (or loses) will be peanuts compared to the tax savings.

If you compare it with growth from Stock investment you will be disappointed.

The user interface is dated, unintuitive and requires far more clicks to do anything compared to Airbnb, on both the host and guest side.

The US Tax systems, when compared to the EU, seems to be setup for capitalists. 1031 exchanges, write-offs, etc.
