I know you didn't have insurance, but this can be a guideline for labor costs.I would recommend the use of 100% ceramic tile for flooring (or maybe even stained concrete) since you are self-insuring.

Test results positive for Asbestos on walls, and ceiling in kitchen area, and flooring the glue bonding under old vynal tiles, which is covered by carpet den and hallway.

All 3 units are 2/1 designs with new stainless appliances, granite counters, wood grain tile floors, nice lighting, and all have nice private outdoor yards, and plenty of parking.

I closed on my home, did most of the remodeling myself (took the "how to tile yourself" class at Home Depot, painted, etc) and lived there for 3 years until I was able to buy the next one.

I prefer wood, tile, and vinyl tiles, but i think carpet is more appealing in some areas.
