I wouldn't say housing market in Austin has crashed ... we just bid on a prop this weekend in central Austin and it went to multiple offers, my friend just bought in N Austin and there were 12 offers on that prop.

Then you could finish the foreclosure and many times the lender gets the property back because they are willing to bid the most or at least bluff that they are and scare off other bidders depending on how the process works where you are.
