@Joseph Jin I can’t speak to Southern Ontario, mine are in Ottawa, an area I like for a number of reasons I can get into if interested.

Are there any local real estate investment meet ups in the area  of Toronto Ontario Canada ?

It's a little pricey and a little Ontario biased in some sections, but it is the veritable text book on the subject.

That's not to say there are not opportunities in other parts of Ontario, PQ, the Maritimes, or flatland, but patience is what is needed most.An alternative is to invest in the U.S.A as there are areas where you can get much more bang-for-your-buck.
