T Boone Pickens went on TV and pledged a massive fortune on wind energy. . . only to abandon it when it didnt pan out.I have yet to see any vampire, even on True Blood step up, or for that matter any bazillonaire and coin Virgin Solar.You both are wise minds, to urge caution.Brother and Neighbor Matt Devincenzo, you and I both know of the brownouts here in Southern California, I would be afraid to fold the electricity into the rent check, especially if I get a granny tenant that runs the air conditioner all summer.Again gentlemen, very wise words. . .

However, Joel mentioned production company....some industries are very inter-twined and TV/Productions (if that's what it is) is one.A news guy involved in productions at a TV station, strikes off on his own and starts a production company specializing in say agricultural reports.

Furniture, TV's and kitchen supplies are going to be a big one.  

Stick to providing all the stuff required to stay comfortably for a weekend...well appointed kitchen, ample TV, comfortable furniture.Best of luck!

You'll obviously have to fully furnish it (furniture, tv, bedding, linens, kitchenware, etc) if it's a vacation rental. 

Get some of those fake cc tv cameras that have a blinking light 5 hat makes them look like they are always recording.
