I build rapport with the seller while further examining the property.

Last week I passed my CT salesperson exam in the hopes of finding a broker in the area that specializes in commercial and income property to affiliate with and learn from.  

I must say it's a little nerve racking for me making that first step but it's a step I'm willing to make.

I have always thought about investing in RE but I guess I just haven't had the "nerve" to take the plunge.

Basically is it a rule of thumb to just steer away altogether from these and put the money towards SFH or should each property be examined on a case by case basis.Let me know your thoughts.Thanks!

The woman actually had the nerve to construe that I had "made these up on the computer!"

So, I've decided to start focusing on rentals within 3 - 4 miles of my home.Even with all my reading, I feel like I know nothing about the subject -- probably nerves about looking at my first property tomorrow.

(One where the bank is requiring at least $20,000+ less than tax value for the property we are currently examining and time is of the essence)

Also, as far as the emails..... yes it can get nerve racking!
