Well... it will be when an applicant goes through id theft and lists you as a source that collected sensitive information and question about your process will be asked and yeah it applies to even a self-manager.

In IT we have to automate to make are job somewhat easier, same goes for investing though you will have some hurdles to climb but once you cut your teeth, you automate/delegate tasks accordingly.
