My question today is that there is a 28 unit self-storage unit for sale close to our house in a tiny town.  

Btw I have always thought the container dwellings and the tiny houses have not made a lot of sense due to cost per square foot finished out vs travel trailers or site built sheds/buildings...but I have never delved deeply.  

If you do, the judge magistrate will not care even one little tiny bit that you used a loan with an occupancy requirement.You are not getting them out legally in 2 weeks.

Can some please advise me on why tiny homes are being priced the same as traditional homes in the Orlando or Tampa market?

If you have tiny amounts of equity and the market dips you *could* find yourself in a place where you'd have to come out-of-pocket to sell the property.
