Never thought about the question OP asked.It's funny because it makes me feel instantly better, that my doors are "mine" and not shared with 1-100 other people.The bank has the final laugh although.Reading future posts on this forum, with people boasting how they bought 20 units last month will be taken with a heavy dose of salt.

I only had one tenant that I had to sign a lease with myself, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but my system is very common to what you will find if you googled “how to screen tenants”.

@David Taylor, I'm not an STR investor, so take this worth a grain of salt.

Obviously take everything you read on public forums with a grain of salt and make the best decision for you, but this is what I would do.
