I also travel a lot, so sometimes I rent out the in-law suite to traveling nurses or folks relocating who need a temporary place to stay. 

It was in an irrevocable trust (thank god... as she needed to go to a nursing home later in life).

Also, Texas is one of the lowest paying states in the country for travel nurses so they typically don't want to pay a lot for homes or rooms when traveling anywhere in TX.

I promote a lot to traveling nurses, and business professionals.

In Cheyenne, furnished rentals near the hospital can get leased at a premium to traveling nurses in about 3 month intervals.

Is anyone looking at mid-term rentals to travel nurses or corporate professionals since rents are higher than long term rents? 

You initially can use it as a LTR, but if the MTR market is hot, you can always put it on furnished finder and rent it to nurses.

I would have lived in one and airbnb the other or rent it to traveling nurses, its  a block or so from providence but i couldn't act fast enough to seal the deal.  

The property I obtained is pretty tired  (thats gonna keep me busy for a while)  but all tenants therein seem to be decent people and have various decent,  blue collar jobs like EMT,  Nurse, Mechanic,  Educator,  etc.
