NOTED.He mentioned that it was failing so he had it drained so He could fix the leak.( he owns a pool company so he said ) I thought it was strange and asked why he didn’t report it, he said it just happened recently and he didn’t want us to stress about it and wouldTake care of it himself.

It is a strange market, but I trust it.I just received some sticker shock when I inquired into selling one of my properties.

I agree a normal inspector would certainly not question a newer house, so this seems really strange.

If so maybe complain to the association board, but if that doesn't work, if you talk to them again and persuade them to accept a new more quiet unit, problem solved.Just make sure to take the old one so they don't reuse it.Also, if it's buzzing in a strange manner, it might not have much life left in it.Window A/C units are basically a throw away item vs a fix item.Good Luck!
