The big companies here are all focused on cloud offerings, which has only gotten more demand with the newly emerging WFH culture.

It depends on if they can survive the culture shock.

That may be cultural to my area. 

You can undercut your employees, your team, sacrifice the culture in order to drive more profit but ultimately you will pay through employee turnovers, slow productivity and conflict management which costs MORE money to fix.Friends, remember this… It ALWAYS costs more to react to problems than to prevent problems early on.

Showing your children other cultures and teaching them the concept of being a world citizen builds compassion and understanding.

It's definitely a culture shock.

What I would do is find a couple people who invest around UW currently and find out about the culture of student housing there.

Born and raised in San Diego I'm sure the weather will be a complete culture shock but I'm ready for it!
