North Carolina continues to draw massive amounts of vacationers and relocators for these reasons and many others.

Our community sounds like what you described with amenities like golf, skiing, pool, etc. that draw in vacationers. 

The vast majority of vacationers stay in condos.

Is it in an area that draws a lot of vacationers?

.), I think that most vacationers hit the summer months and the winter holidays, with a sprinkle of spring breakers if you're in a warmer state. 

Because most of the new ones are being built a little further out, the success that I witness and am a part of are primarily resales that the new owner upgrades adding a number of amenities that today's vacationers want and that make the vacation home stand out against the competition. 

Palm Desert is such a destination for vacationers that I am fully booked 6 months throughout the year.

@Brandon Turner I definitely would love to live in Hawaii as well and be one of those permanent vacationers someday haha.

For just a week or two is a vacationer and would be more like the kind of "contract" you sign when you check into a hotel. 

If vacationers are going to compare these with local motel/hotel options, then I am in trouble.
