Are there any local meet ups or websites on where to find more people who have a moderate level of experience meaning they are  somewhat experienced but still looking to collaborate and network with more inexperienced investors like myself.

I think the reason that Grocapitus or Neal Bawa were not getting much response either speaks to their level of participation in BP (Neal obviously doesn't spend much time here), or the fact that unhappy LPs were shy, or happy LPs were shy, or BP does a poor job of really getting posts noticed.

Depending on your practice size and income level, you may just want to start with maxing out 401k and also adopting a defined benefit plan before committing to becoming a lifelong real estate investor.  

It might be worth talking to a lawyer but not sure if it's small claims or worth it.Also, you might already have all of these things but for future prevention:- smart thermostat (so you receive alerts when the inside temperature dips below whatever preset you have)- Minut (or similar device) would also alert you to the inside (and outside) temperatures; for example, I have 2 devices inside the house and outside on the hot tub deck.

If you have a high level of faith in the company you are working with, then time will do what it is supposed to do and increase your IRR.  

I hate to say this, but if you want to get a job with Yardi as the main software, you will need to start at the entry-level accounting.
