Only time will tell if it levels off or continues to soften the market.My original post was not intended to be doom and gloom as if we are crashing but more so to discuss the recent trend of the increase in supply so that active buyers know they can be slightly less aggressive on their offers and sellers need to price their properties correctly as they have more competition.

Since then I moved rents up to $2,590/month but with the rental market softening and having a tenant move out early that'll drop to $2,475/month here shortly.Overall it was a great decision and the numbers worked well after I moved out!

Many of us do it over a long period of time taking advantage of inflation and rents paying down our mortgage.As long as you buy a property with positive cash flow you should be fine even if the market softens for a while.
