Look at your the internal rate of return instead.

If you have the time, offer to work/intern for s big investor, that would be a huge way to get started.

However, anyone with international experience that applies to my situation, it would be nice to hear from you. 

I think your best is to keep reading and above all build your network reach out to local investors and ask what they need help with.I work with special needs kiddos and we often call investors, lawyers, etc. and ask them how we can create an intern program where we help them and learn the business at the same time.

So in one thread they are preaching all the money they make then in another they are preaching no one should be doing it - they are also an "international speaker"....
