Your LLC has no "business" other than the asset(s) it owns.

Investors might want to start exploring smaller cities or less-saturated markets poised for population and business growth.

If your state is an expensive one it might be cost prohibitive to have an LLC for a small rental business.

Hey everyone,I'm looking to get started in the short-term rental business and could really use some advice.

I was able to rent the garage to a seasoned electrician running his business through there only coming in and out to stock his truck once per day.I hope to be able to convert the second floor into an ADU as soon as Feb 2nd rolls around.

The majority of the business I do is buying small multi families and identifying the towns that are more favorable for investing. 

You can probably make up for the perceived loss through the reinvestment in your US business.

When you say "we," are you speaking about your business or your personal tax returns, or does your business flow into your personal returns because you file as a sole proprietor?  

After 5 years in the business I’m starting to get a few word of mouth referrals which is how I closed my last property which was my first off market deal.

If you know where any more notes are that can be acquired for $.10-$.20 on the dollar please let me and I might change my business model to a Note investor. :-)
