You are already at a disadvantage because there are quite a few buyers who want to purchase directly from an owner rather than engage with a wholesaler.

But my primary focus is commercial property, I rarely engage in a residential property transaction, especially don’t  with a homeowner.

My husband and I were comparing notes the other day about over-used and meaningless words in our work, one of his worlds being non-profits that focus on public engagement, and mine being RE.

Unacceptable conduct, such as engaging with multiple neighbors and disclosing terms of my contract to parties other than creditors or banks and libelous behavior(basically engaging in gossip with 3rd parties).2.

Also I never liked NREIG on our initial engagement.

Or what if you personally found home you want to buy without a real estate agent...is it recommend to engage an agent?

Instead of recommendations and professional advice from her I found myself with more questions than answers often times, and her newness and lack of confidence left me feeling like I couldn't trust her.I think you're already 4 steps ahead of her as you're here asking the questions and are engaged on the BP forums which in my opinion, besides having a great broker with seasoned agents to learn from in person, is the MOST important thing.
