I would encourage you to learn the market you plan to invest in now and to continue to learn about the different methods of investing.

With respect to the LLC, you can continue to reuse the LLC since you’re not keeping properties in the LLC.

Another thought if you have already been in the house for a year is to continue to work on it, add more value and then sell it after two years so you can avoid the capital gains.

And you can quite literally walk there from the U.S. side if you didn't forget your passport at home :) Of course, I don't know how much (if at all) this could affect a hospitality business, so I would continue trying to find someone who actually operates an STR here to find out more.  

Rental demand in our market is off-the-chart; the shortage of properties continues to hit historical lows year-over-year.

This is also (historically) where the best appreciation is, and our growth continues to feed that well past the covid boom.

I think the unsuccessful and struggling units who have not jumped ship yet will continue to do so, leading to less supply, increasing demand, and a better year for the successful units.
