Can he find a really good friend who can get 0 APR balance transfers and hold onto the money temporarily while he recovers?  

Can he do this???

How can he place a contractors lien if there is no contract to show he was hired to do the work?

How can he say that this disqualifies it as a comp.  

If he wants to do cash out refinance, his income is social security and rental income for those properties can he still get 75% loan for each property within the same year or will the amount the banks let him qualify for 75% loan refinance depend more on his debt/income ratio and credit score?
