Southbay beach cities are beautiful!

You can't genuinely expect other cities to not try to create the infrastructure, job desirability, living conditions to impede such progress.

Keep in mind these cities become hot because of past data, not future.

If you want to be in a city, I would not choose Go South or North West.   

Can you show me a city in America where land is at a shortage?

With that said, I've done some research on the market and found the following information helpful in my considerations for Phoenix that you might find helpful as well:  Demand for both buying and renting property remains high due to the city's strong economy and growing population. 

Working horrible job, living horrible, no golden streets of opportunity found.

In one street it might be a great deal, the next it may be a nightmare.
