I think guests hardly ever damage things intentionally, but when you have luggage coming in and out all the time and little kids running around a "new place," there IS a lot more wear-and-tear, scuffs/dents/scrapes, and broken glass. 

It might help to give context to their complaints so we could decide if they should have known that.Most MTR guests won't have many complaints if the place is set up correctly and cleaned, so I always expect to handle anything they want, within reason and even a little beyond.

One that I am interested in does allow you to self manage, but does that present an issue with guests who try to call for service or use the front desk?
