Maybe 10 years from now we see Columbus 10/10 for this century and Los Angeles 5 out of 10 for this century (basically reversing the current numbers).   

Hey Matt, I own 2 duplexes here in Columbus, Ohio and I would say that buying duplexes in an appreciating area would probably be your best bet.

People invest in Columbus for the long-term outlook of the area.

I prefer more Columbus Ohio because it's still growing like crazy here!

That's what's been happening here in Columbus OH - lots of major companies moving and developing out here like Intel, Amazon, Meta, Google, etc.

I’d recommend Columbus, OH.

I did the same exact thing you're looking to do a few years ago when I moved from my hometown in Portland Oregon to Columbus Ohio to start full time real estate investing.

Ohio markets show up 3 times in Zillow’s 2024 hottest markets, with Columbus and Cincinnati taking the top 2 and 3 spots.

I personally love Columbus for value-add investments.
