Or Pike if you can afford it.

When I went to Seattle 6 months ago (near Pike Place Market), I came away thinking that I would never go there again simply because there are too many mentally unstable people walking around there.

but yes, we have to pay attention to new laws, and deal with tenant friendly advocacy....  ...I would love to hear how you are mitigating your business risk with all these elements coming down the 'pike. 

I have a dream of a parking structure somewhere near Pike Place Market... people will always need a place to park down there!

Also from what I hear CA is pushing hard the socialism angle and there is rent control existing but also a proposed vacancy control coming down the pike.

Be prepared to start figuring out how much carbon your operations put out because that is coming down the pike.
