A good property manager can be worth their weight in gold, but a bad manager...Best of luck and again, because your goal is passive income, if you're able, I'd seriously consider single tenant net lease investments.

Even though they still look at me, commercial loans place a heavier weight on the asset.There typically is no limit, where as fannie/freddie limit you to 10 loans. 

We do it to ourselves ,foolishly taking on the weight of the world onto our shoulders when 99%!

You can get a contractor to walk through with you, but I personally feel the weight of a home inspection report from an inspector is much more than any random contractor, for resell purpose.
