After you factor in curb cuts, permitting, line striping, machines and permits it can be cost prohibitive.

I've also been looking into apps to help me with my funnel (deal machine, propstream, etc.).

They definitely let me know frequently about the train noise and I did everything I could to make their time there tolerable (white noise machines, Bose Sleepbuds, etc). 

I also provide ear plugs and white noise machine for lite sleepers. 

The city has the potential to be a manufacturing machine if the circumstances improve.
