Finding one that has built in padding and a thick wear layer (10 or 12 mm) makes for easier install, it holds up forever, and is just all around better.

The application can be filled out via phone as well though IMO (i've tried it) - it's a bit tedious - Maybe I'm old school but I can input data many times faster with a keyboard/mouse and a larger screen...Guess if you were using a tablet such as an I-pad it would be a bit easier though.

It seems like the client has a reasonable fear of being over-charged on the materials end, since shady contractors could simply pad the materials bill.
