Set realistic goals and try to be disciplined and hit them, this way you will have a much better chance at knowing whether buying a 45k car makes sense or not.In 5-10 years I see myself as an owner of a (hopefully) successful business, my income goal at that time realistically is in the 300-500k range, at age 35 or so I'll probably be looking to start my family, and in terms of real estate I'll be looking to buy the building I practice in as well as any subsequent buildings during expansion of the business. 

Subsequently they defaulted after two payments and lied consistently through the process.  

However I was called this week and told they want to put a hold on any subsequent loans and utilization of our line-of-credit till we file 2014 taxes.

In fact, with 25+ years of flipping and investing, I have never had a claim other than a roof due to hail damage years ago.In early August I had a tenant who left a pan of oil on the stove and the subsequent fire destroyed the property. 

And more than likely it will come back even stronger in subsequent years and will more than make up for it.

We then assessed their heating costs & subsequently upgraded the furnace to HiEff. 

Many courts are subsequently not keen on the idea of frivolous lawsuits, and often throw stuff out really fast for that very reason.

In Maine, it's a hefty fine of $20,000 for the first violation, $50,000 for subsequent violations.
