RC is the cost to rebuild the structure with the same kind and quality.

Dwelling (Building coverage)The limit should be based on the Replacement Cost of the building (cost to rebuild withthe same kind and quality excluding the foundation)2.

Aside from tear-down rebuilds there aren’t many options to really generate “new” income in that area.

It was fire damaged so we had to rebuild about 1/2 of the house, and we also reworked the layouts on both floors.

Even if you do plan on tearing a property down and rebuilding, you still ought to take a look at the land, soil and sewage.

If that structure is destroyed by a covered loss, it is likely, that you will have to rebuild it in a different manor to comply with current laws. 

I messed up as a teen/young adult and have spent some time trying to rebuild but I have hit a few bumps here and there.Any suggestions on any sources or groups that anyone has had experience with who would help in this situation?

Has anyone ever considered or tried buying an empty lot or a tear down and used their VA loan to construct a house to sell in a highly valued area?

Is $350,000 enough to rebuild a house of this size?
