The first thing I thought of when I saw a 3d printer was that I wanted a massive, portable one that could take concrete as an medium.I've seen 3d prints of models from ArchiCAD, and I think it may only be a matter of time before at least some parts of a typical house get printed on site.

Instead of stamping or tagging address, I used an alphabet code (also had few units, unlike @Dawn Anastasi ).We had a maintenance closet where we kept a set and my local assistant(also person, well trusted friend) could get to them.

Use a color that is standard,, or keep the color number so you can match in a year or more..suggestion,, always paint the inside of closets WHITE.. easy to just touch up and you never have to worry about painting it to match the walls again...

The repairman replaced 2 things last year that seemed to have fixed it, but it's just not worth $300 a year to maintain.I still need to do some measurements, but the laundry unit fits inside a closet that has a door and it is a complete nightmare to try and pull it out and reattach the drain and fill hoses.Also, the new appliances would have a 1 year warranty and I would get the extended warranty on them as well.
