I took control of my eating habits, a lifetime of abuse to my body, major changes.

Now ask a friendly attorney who is on the hook when said unscreened criminal assaults one of your other tenants or abuses another tenant's child?  

People get abusive when utilities are included.

🤔 So what protects you from abuse in that case unless you are well educated in the pricing of common repairs?

From what I can tell, we all hop onto a bus, and drive to property to property, while understanding what it feels like to be in and around a property that's in the middle of renovating.

They actually have a bus tour this weekend, where they plan to visit a couple of properties that currently been rehabbed. 

In fact, the risk is higher because Tenants tend to neglect/abuse things they aren't financially responsible for.In my office, I have a policy of charging a double deposit and a mandatory cleaning fee to mitigate against the increased risk.

It was not pretty and the word "sad" would be understatement.Now, when my attorney puts stupid clauses in my contracts, "In case someone gets hit by a bus," … well, now I listen.

I considered reporting this post as abuse (which it clearly is), but prefer to tackle issues head on instead of asking others to sort them out for me.

OMG..... i see the reasoning but it gives a license to people for abuse....Invest in Texas!!
