Today, my company has grown to fix and flip multi-family and single family properties, in addition to, performing turn-key remodeling for investors.

I am a NYer at heart, but since I have been working in NJ, I have grown a fondness for the Garden State. 

I haven't taken a dollar out yet and instead, I have grown from 3 to 9 doors in the last 12 months.  

I'm about 30 years too late getting to @Bill Gulley free course, but my observation is that there are many variations of ways to help kids (or grown ups) learn the power of real estate and everything associated with acquisition, building, owning, managing, etc.  

Over the past 2 years our houses have grown 26.2% for value and  9.5% in rent. 

Median household income is 72K, and the population has grown 15% since 2000, unemployment is around 5%. 

They are all grown now, the oldest is in business with me, and I have again started to broker, as well as continuing to aquire and manage.  

Also, having grown up in both Tulsa area schools and Houston area schools, (Go Bearkats, Spring Tx), the schools definitely benefit from the additional tax revenue.  

I have invested in the stock market for the past 6 years and have recently grown very interested in the real estate world.  

Young and lacked confidence to stay the course...but the investor side of me has only grown.
