I wouldn't be to quick to think you are not a victim here Maybe an account that is for the sole purpose of collecting rent, then as soon as its collected the rent is moved by check or some other means, not electronically to another account is a type of defense against this??

But then Zillow allows you to do all the documents electronically, and to collect rent electronically so I've had nothing but good experiences with it.

Because technically and literally speaking, they are an electronic nicotine delivery system, if you choose to have any nicotine in them at all.  

To that point, most mortgages are backed by the US Govt and most mortgages are paid by check through the mail or by electronic transfer which adds bank fraud to the charges (all of which involves the interest of the Feds.)

The way I've read the zoning laws, you can certainly rent out a SF in print and electronic media, so perhaps that the legal way at this point.
