Sounds like they have a big headache and want to unload that burden on someone else.

Keep in mind that when container shipping is quoted, it is most often to the "port of entry" and then there may be customs duties, expediter fees, trucking to your site and then you have to figure out how to unload the components from the container in the two hour time window they give you.

For all others- if you are a genuinely distressed seller in need of help- if you can't afford your house, you're behind on payments / taxes; uninsured; or you're a burnt out landlord with tenant / eviction issues; facing job re-location, divorce, or life has otherwise happened to you-- maybe you took advice from how to invest in real estate from some message board, and now you've got a dog or dogs you need to unload?

That at that point, problems could arise, appraisal issues, financing issues and that if you did unload on granny for cash, that someone wouldn't come out of the woodwork raising cane about it.

But this is just talk right now, I'm just trying to get used to landlording for the moment.Also keep in mind that some SoCal sellers are unloading right now are unloading older properties with lots of deferred maintenance ahead of El Niño (as was the case with my property).  

Let your friends and family know as well, you never know if a co-worker or friend is trying to unload a home.Hope that help.

For my next adventure I went into mill work at a semi-local lumber mill and from there transitioned into graphics installation (mostly wrap installation & removal on vehicles) for the last 9 years.

Prebuilt cabinets, lighting, granite, lumber, vanities, appliances, sinks and faucets, doors, paint, etc. where are you all buying from for your flips/rentals?

I ran into this lady who has few houses that she is trying to unload.
