Just looking at how others may set up the road map to where they want to be?

My next step is road mapping my plan, it is continually refined as come across new info here on BP.

I recommend writing out your business plan which highlights your experience, and ongoing investment roadmap. 

He is in the apartment space but he has the roadmap laid out.

There is no one road map to making money in Real Estate and when you know your strategies then you know if a deal is a deal and when maybe to walk away.Best of luck and hope you have successful future!

Either way, I've come to a conclusion that it might exist a guru that will give you the road map to success. 

However, despite a basic understanding of the concept, I feel like I need a better road map on how and where to start the research in each county.

We began by purchasing older (as in Second Empire, Victorian, Edwardian, with a couple of post WWII houses) buildings and renovating them to be healthy energy efficient homes for our tenants.Our roadmap has always had the longer term objective of building new multi-unit buildings (townhouses and/or apartment complexes) to Passivhaus standards.
