I took a full video of the apartment upon move-in with myself and the tenant in the video and have numerous photos & videos of the condition of the apartment when vacated.I want to bill the tenants for the damages but want to make sure I follow the laws/procedures correctly. 

What is the procedure for changing the locks in Chicago and providing the keys to the tenants. 

Specific notices and procedures are required to file a legit lien in FL.  

I am not saying anyone is out to take advantage of you but protocal is protocal and procedure is procedure, you have to make sure because no one else is going to do it for you.

Hi, I inherited a 1 family home, where I had been living for more than 10 years, I did not pay rent prior to inheriting, continued to live in after inheriting, no interruption.Got the deed 1.5 years ago after probate procedures , but inherited it 3years ago as a matter of state law the title of the property passes on to the heir upon the descendent’s death.For the last two years it has been owner occupied rental 50% of the property several rooms, it is a small mansion.

I want to know How does the earnings procedure work, How to close after doing the earnings, Do I need a attorney present if I’m selling cash only and How do I find out if the house have any prior liens on it...

It must be done by qualified engineers or architects, CPAs are not qualified as they generally do not have knowledge of construction, construction techniques, design and estimation procedures.

Sometimes the magistrates may ignore this procedural defect.
