With the possibility of Dodd-Frank being eliminated by our new president I would not be surprised if we see the market continue to inflate.  

Everyone in your district votes for a Presidential candidate, and then an Electoral College member from your district is supposed to cast his vote for the President according to the way your district majority voted, but under some circumstances he will vote his own way.

OK, seriously though...Presidential elections honestly don't do much for the real estate cycle.

Depending on position in the military, during the last two shutdowns the presidents essentially made sure the military would get paid by way of presidential orders.

There are places like Vicksburg, Southern Plantations you could visit, visit Kennedy Space Center; Disney World, you could visit the Presidential Libraries, Mount Vernon, Montpelier, Monticello......You could spend time in So Cal; As opposed to Squirty Worm in Lima, we have two the Getty Museums, The Norton Simon Museum, (those three museums alone are world class and destinations all on their own) Hearst Castle, Santa Barbara, some of the California Missions are very interesting and fun (Santa Barbara comes to mind again), Disneyland, I could go on and on and on and on and on. 

As far as the political climate, the president is just enforcing the laws, which is the role of the executive branch.
