Although smoking marijuana is illegal in NC minus limited medical use, there is likely very little enforcement.

It is very hard to remove the smoke smell, especially when it is marijuana. 

again, the problem is they're punishing the wrong people...make the jail times lengthier for marijuana possession if that's the issue--don't fine the landlords bc their tenants are smoking weed..how does that teach the tenant to get in gear and become a better citizen?

Just the opposite - we have 3 current marijuana users. in your last post, you state you can reject smokers as a group.  

I'm not advocating for drug use but marijuana is looped into the same complaint in most computer systems so for everyone getting cited for having mj that comes across as drug activity - because it is.
