In general this strategy lets you get involved with investing in a way that makes a "skinny deal" a real deal and gives you the power to scale relatively quickly for a low amount of cash relative to the value of the property.Otherwise it's a bloodbath looking for the properties that cashflow well, aren't price-inflated, and don't need to be lived in personally to make work -- they're out there, but a bit like narwal these days.

The few area that do allow a new build on a 25’ wide lot require the builder use one of the city approved plans which are basically pencil looking houses - very tall and skinny.
